August was a month of habit building, wellness focus, and finding those tried-and-true staples that made daily life smoother. From brain-boosting supplements to toddler essentials, these are the products I reached for again and again. Some are brand new additions that quickly earned their spot, while others are longtime favorites that continue to prove their worth month after month.
Creatine:

This isn’t just for the gym bros anymore… it’s transformed my daily routine. Taking 5-10mg daily, I’ve noticed sharper focus and sustained attention throughout the day. Beyond the cognitive benefits, creatine is responsible for supplying energy directly to your muscles and brain cells. The mental clarity boost has been undeniable, making this supplement a non-negotiable part of my morning routine.
Oura Ring Silicon Covers:

If you have an Oura ring and aren’t using covers to protect against scratches, what are you even doing? These silicone covers have been a lifesaver during workouts and daily activities that could damage the ring’s surface. They come in fun colors, are surprisingly durable, and make perfect gifts for any Oura ring owner.
Lululemon Scuba Dupe:

I’m all for supporting quality brands, but when you can find a dupe with a $90 price difference, I’m in. These hoodies rival Lululemon’s quality with the same elevated design and comfortable fit. The fabric is not Lulu, but it’s close enough. I have my muted colors from Lulu, but I’ve been loving some of the bolder colorways this brand offers. (I’m actually waiting on a delivery of the one above as I type this. Ha!

Foam Climbing Playmats:

My son is absolutely obsessed with climbing right now, and this setup has been our saving grace. These foam mats provide the perfect climbing challenge while ensuring safety during his adventurous play. They add necessary risk to his exploration while giving me peace of mind. (Jonathan Haidt would be proud). I chose these because one of my friends has them. Three years and two boys later, these mats have held up exceptionally well, a testament to their quality construction.
The Beast Blender:

This blender is not only aesthetic, but makes daily smoothies so much easier! I bought this when I was in my 3rd trimester and was ramping up those date smoothies. (If I never see another date, i’ll be fine with that). I love it because It fits perfectly in kitchen drawers and creates single-serve smoothies on the go! Lugging our huge blender out feels like such a chore, so this has become so much more low effort, which means I actually drink smoothies. She’s a smoothie girly now.
STEM Stacking Rings

The colors on this toy are admittedly not my favorite, but my baby is completely captivated by these rings. At just $10, it’s been his favorite toy for over two months. I tuck it away in our credenza when not in use, so I’m fine with these bold colors. Sometimes the simplest toys truly are the best.
Viral Biodance Collagen Face Mask:

The skincare world’s latest obsession has in fact, lived up to the hype. I bought these this month and am shocked at how hydrated my skin feels when I take them off. Honestly, they feel like I just had a facial when I remove them.
Momcozy Nursing Bras

I love my skimms nursing bras, but sometimes I just need a bit more shape. I got one of this this month, and have been liking it for when i go out in public, gives me more confidence given I’m toward the end of my BF journey.
Owala Kids Stainless Steel Sippy Cup:

Stainless steel is a non-toxic, BPA-free, and non-reactive material that doesn’t leach harmful chemicals into the water, providing a safe and ‘healthier’ option for waterbottles. Plus, it’s just a really cute waterbottle.
Ribbed Tank Top Basics:

If you’ve ever seen any videos or photos of me, I’m probably wearing one of these tank tops. I have so many, because they truly are a summer staple. They’re so flattering, and honestly for the price, they have held up better than some of my aritizia tank tops. (Caveat: they are NOT as soft).
Merrell Agility Peak 5 Trail Running Shoes:

I committed to walking every single day in August (which I actually did!) so I bought some new walking shoes for… motivation. Merrell has always fit my feet perfectly with zero break-in period needed (even hiking boots!), and these walking shoes proved no exception.

Prenatal Omega-3:

After listening to Chris Williamson’s podcast with Dr. Daniel Amen about brain health, I became laser-focused this month on supporting my cognitive function. These omega-3 supplements, paired with creatine, have become my daily brain health protocol. The quality of Needed is exceptional, I actually still take the prenatals for my daily multivitamin.
Toddler Walking Shoes:

These shoes have been essential for my toddler who’s just started taking his first few steps. The flexibility is crucial for proper foot development and stability as little ones learn balance and coordination. Unlike rigid shoes that can actually hinder natural foot movement, these allow for the sensory feedback toddlers need while providing protection. They’re perfect for both indoor and outdoor exploration.
Thieves Household Cleaner:

The crunchy in me is showing. This non-toxic cleaner has replaced virtually every cleaning product in my home. It smells so good and works exceptionally well. I just cleaning my outside windows with it, and they’re spotless. It seems expensive, but this stuff LASTS FOREVER. I finally purchased my second bottle, and I bought my first one a year ago, in August.
These August favorites represent a month of intentional living! From prioritizing brain health to finding products that genuinely improve daily life. Each item earned its spot through consistent use and proven results, making them worthy of recommendation and repeat purchases.
